In an average period, the team handled 16 incidents through the period. 4 of these were in October, 7 in November, and 5 in December.

Overall, we had 8 callouts from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, with incidents ranging from fallen horse riders, a person trapped by a fallen tree, a sledging injury, and various lower leg injuries from ‘slip and trips’.

We had five call outs from West Yorkshire Police to assist with missing / lost person searches.

We also had two call outs to assist our neighbouring team, Calder Valley SRT; one for a missing person search and one for Yorkshire Ambulance Service support.

Finally, we had a more unusual incident where we rescued a sheep which had become crag-fast above Bilberry Reservoir.
