West Yorkshire Police called the Team out at approximately 1pm today to search for a high-risk missing person.
Personnel met at Castle Hill car park for tasking, but just as the first search teams were about to leave for their search areas we got the good news that the missing person had been located.

On Saturday 6th June, The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team held a dinner to celebrate 50 years since its formation.
The team was called out at 6pm on 12th May to assist the Yorkshire Ambulance Service with a casualty located in a difficult to access location near Blakeley Reservoir.
The casualty was loaded on to the Team’s stretcher and carried a few hundred metres to an ambulance that was waiting on the Wessenden track.
18 members turned out.
The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team hosted the official opening ceremony for its new Headquarters building on Manchester Road in Marsden on Saturday 18th April. This was followed by an open day for the public to see the building and meet the team. Continue reading
