Call out: 12th September 2017

The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team spent the early morning of 12th September on a search for a missing person in the Salendine Nook area of Huddersfield.

The Team was called out by West Yorkshire Police at 00.20am to search footpaths in an area of countryside close to the missing person's home address. Over 20 team members searched through the night, completing the search at 5.15am without finding the missing person.

UPDATE: West Yorkshire Police has announced that the missing person has turned up safe and well. Great news...

The Rescue Ramble

The Rescue Ramble is our annual fund raising walk and run. There are three routes to choose from, with distance ranging from 25 miles, 16 miles and 8 miles – all to be completed within 10 hours.
