Exercise: 18th June 2017

On Sunday 18th June, the team conducted a training exercise with a Coastguard Helicopter and crew from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

We were also joined by a representative from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, bearing the Our Blue Light Mental Health Relay baton.

The Mental Health Relay baton is making its way across the country, being passed between services to help raise awareness of mental health issues for emergency service workers. We are very proud to have been a part of the relay, and pleased to have played a part in keeping people aware of this important issue that affects the lives of emergency services personnel up and down the country, day in, day out.
