How you can help?

It costs over £10,000 per year (£190 per week) to maintain the Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team. In return, we provide a professional standard but voluntary search and rescue service to the local and regional community.

1) Donate securely to Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team online

2) Write a cheque

Please make the cheque payable to “Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team”. Cheque donations should be sent to the team secretary whose address is on the “Contact Us” page.

3) Carry out fundraising activities for the Team:

Host a Collecting Box – If you own a shop, pub or other establishment you could request a team collecting box. We will empty it at regular intervals.

Take part in a sponsored event on our behalf. Run a marathon or walk a mile, it all helps!

4) Sponsorship

Individuals and companies can sponsor individual items or parts of the teams service for example the vehicles, phones or insurance. Supporters often like to provide or maintain a specific item of equipment contact the Team Secretary for details.
