The Team was called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service with the evacuation of a Duke of Edinburgh participant from the moors above Marsden at 6.50 pm on Wednesday 25th March. One of a group of four was taken ill while on a practice expedition – after being checked by paramedics at the scene the casualty was able to walk off the moor with assistance from members of the Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team.
